As the events in Israel and growing antisemitism weigh heavily on our hearts, meditation can be a valuable tool to improve our physical and emotional wellbeing. Meditation is the formal practice of mindfulness and can be as simple as pausing and taking three breaths. Some of the benefits of meditation include lower anxiety, reduced stress, increased focus, and improved relationships. Meditation provides an immediate and accessible path to wellbeing that anyone can do. Join the Center for Jewish Care every Thursday in May for Mindful Meditation with Dr. Shayna Kaufmann. In this series, you will learn about the concept of meditation and be guided into the practice. Discover a different meditation technique every week. All levels welcome!
