Featuring the work of local documentary photographer, Michele Zousmer, The Bigger Picture amplifies the stories and impact of San Diego’s first Guaranteed Income Pilot facilitated by the Economic Mobility and Opportunity division of Jewish Family Service of San Diego in partnership with San Diego for Every Child. Images display San Diego families in the intimacy of their homes, while they work, cook, do homework juggling the everyday tasks that keep the family unit whole. The exhibition is intended to spark connection, engagement, and dialogue about how we show up for our community and for each other, and what is possible when we dare to dream of new ways to provide care. Imagine how many lives can be transformed when we change the narrative and collectively provide for our children and ourselves.
